Keyword Families (Professional Version Only)
With ImageAXS Professional, you can organize keywords
into hierarchies (or families), so that one keyword may
contain several related keywords. For example, the
keyword “United States” might have child keywords for
each of the 50 states; attaching a keyword for one of the
states (such as “California”) to a data record would
implicitly attach the “United States” keyword as well.

Viewing and Managing Keywords
Each collection has its own Keyword List window, where
you can add and organize keywords for the collection.

If you are using ImageAXS Professional, the Keyword List
resembles the list view in the Finder, with parent keywords
containing various levels of child keywords instead of
folders containing subfolders and files.

To view a list of keywords for a collection:

From the Keyword menu, select Keyword List, or click the
Keyword List button in the button panel.

Selecting Keywords
Click to select any individual keyword. Select a range of
consecutive keywords the same way you select consecutive
records: click to select the first keyword in the range, then
either drag over the rest of the keywords you want to select,
or hold down the Shift key as you click the last keyword in
the range. Each keyword you select will be highlighted.
