MESSENGER

Through your Messenger, you can find members, set up buddy lists, and organize
games.

To find a member, click FIND MEMBER. Enter any criteria for the member, and
then click SEARCH.

To add a member to your Messenger, click the icon next to the name. Then, click ADD TO
MESSENGER.

To remove a member from your Messenger, click the icon next to the name. Then, click
REMOVE.

To send a message to a buddy, click the buddy’s name in your Messenger. Enter the message
in the space provided. Then, click SEND.

To create a new group in your Messenger, click NEW GROUP.

CLUBS

There are two kinds of Online Clubs in Madden NFL 2004: Public and Private. Public Clubs are
open for anyone to join, but Private Clubs require a password.

To find a Club, select FIND A CLUB from the Clubs menu in the top nav bar. Enter the
parameters for your desired Club on the left side of the Clubs home page. Then, click
SEARCH.

To join a Club, click its name in the search list. The Club’s membership status and privacy are
displayed on the Club’s home page.

To send a message to the Club’s manager, click the member name in the list of Clubs. In the
pop-up menu, click MESSAGE.

To create your own Club, select CREATE CLUB in the Clubs menu, and follow the on-screen
instructions.

QUICK GAMES

Compare your high scores to other players’ scores in Mini-Camp and 2-Minute drills and more.
You compete online against the CPU for a score. If your score is high enough, it is posted to the
high score list.

To compete, select QUICK GAMES in the top nav bar. Select the game to play and the difficulty
level. Then, click PLAY NOW.

Success on a higher difficulty level earns a higher score.
