Viewing and setting properties for multiple layers
When you select two or more layers, the layer Property inspector displays text properties and a 
subset of the full layer properties, allowing you to modify several layers at once.
To select multiple layers: 
Hold down Shift while selecting layers (see 
).
To view and set properties for multiple layers:
1.
Select multiple layers.
2.
In the Property inspector (Window > Properties), click the expander arrow in the lower-
right corner, if it isn’t already expanded, to see all properties. 
3.
Change the layers’ attributes by setting properties.

Using the Layers panel 
The Layers panel is a way to manage the layers in your document. Use the Layers panel to 
prevent overlaps, to change the visibility of layers, to nest or stack layers, and to select one or 
more layers.
To open the Layers panel:
Select Window > Layers.
