– Keep hands away from the steam vents when the

appliance is steaming, or when it has just been switched
off.

– Always change the cloth before heating up or when the

switch is off.

– Warning : when opening the filler cap during use,

residual steam can still escape. This is completely
normal.

– Do not point the jet of steam in the direction of people or

animals. This could cause scalding.

– Do not direct the steam towards electrical sockets,

appliances or equipment.

– Never add any cleaning fragrance, solvent, detergent or

any other substances to the water reservoir.

– Use only tap water or demineralised water.

The cleaning efficiency of Actisurf’ is directly linked to the
effects of e.g. heat that steam creates. It is possible that in
certain circumstances steam could adversely affect the
material being cleaned. To avoid this always carry out a
preliminary test on a part of the area to be cleaned that is
hidden, to check the reaction. Also during cold weather
avoid cleaning tiles outdoors in case of damage.

The manufacturer reserves the right to make changes and
alterations to the product without prior notice.

Produkten dürfen dem Wasser im Wasserbehälter keine
alkoholhaltigen Produkte, Duftauszüge, Kölnisch
Wasser, Lösemittel, Waschmittel oder Fleckentferner
zugesetzt werden.

Die Wirksamkeit des Actisurf hängt direkt vom Wärme-
und mechanischen Effekt des kondensierenden Dampfes
ab. Dampf kann ablösen, abbeizen, bleichen, verformen
oder die zu reinigende Unterlage aufweichen. Prüfen Sie
immer die Hitze- oder Feuchtigkeitsbeständigkeit der
Materialien, indem Sie zuvor am besten an einer nicht
sichtbaren Stelle einen Versuch machen. Glatte Fliesen im
Freien möglichst nicht bei Frostgefahr reinigen, damit
diese nicht springen.

Der Hersteller behält sich vor, die vorgestellten Modelle,
ihre Kennzeichen und ihre Zubehörteile zu ändern.

When using the appliance, elementary precautions should
be taken as indicated below:
- Read carefully the user instructions before using the

appliance.

- Only use this appliance for the purpose for which it is

intended : steam cleaning on non-porous hard floor
surfaces.

- This cleaning appliance is intended exclusively for

domestic use in accordance with these user instructions

- Before plugging in the appliance, check that your voltage

corresponds to that given on the rating plate.

- Only ever use a power point that is correctly earthed.
- Never plug in or pull the plug from the socket with wet

hands.

- Never unplug the appliance by pulling on the power

supply lead; always pull out the plug.

- Make sure that the power supply lead is not touching

any hot surfaces or sharp edges

- Do not use your appliance if it is leaking or if it is

damaged or has a damaged lead.

- When you use your appliance in the presence of

children, take great care. Store it out of the reach of
children.

- If an electrical extension lead is necessary, please

position it so that one cannot trip over it, or disconnect by
accident. The lead must have an earth wire.

- Never leave your appliance connected and

unsupervised.

- Without fail, always disconnect the appliance when filling

the reservoir.

- Never immerse your appliance in water or other liquids.
- If the power supply lead is damaged, it must be replaced

by the manufacturer’s agent, or a similar qualified
person so as to avoid risks.

- At the end of its working life, always immobilise the

appliance before throwing it away by cutting off the
electrical lead..
