Initial Settings

The first time the camera is turned on after purchasing, the [Language/u] 

screen appears on the monitor. Follow the procedure below to set the 

language displayed on the monitor and the current date and time.
If the [Date Adjustment] screen appears, set 

the date and time by following the procedure 

You can choose the language in which the menus, error messages, etc. are 

displayed from the following: English, French, German, Spanish, Portuguese, 

Italian, Dutch, Danish, Swedish, Finnish, Polish, Czech, Hungarian, Turkish, 

Greek, Russian, Korean, Traditional Chinese, Simplified Chinese and Japanese.

Use the four-way controller (2345) to select the desired 

language.

Press the 4 button.

The [Initial Setting] screen appears in the 

selected language.

Press the four-way controller (3) twice and 

proceed to Step 10 on p.61 if W 

(Hometown) does not have to be changed.

Press the four-way controller (3).

The cursor moves to 

W

Press the four-way controller (5).

The [W Hometown] screen appears.
