Shooting Movies
Turn the mode dial to 3.
Press the shutter release button.
Movie shooting starts.
While shooting, the “˜REC” indicator blinks, 
and the recording time and time remaining 
are shown.
Press the shutter release button again.
Shooting ends.
 Caution -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
•  If the camera is operated while shooting, the operation sounds will also be recorded.
•  The following functions cannot be used in 3 mode.
•  Flash
•  FA/Move Target

•  If the Fn2 button is pressed while shooting, recording will be paused. If the Fn2 button is pressed
again, recording will resume.
•  Each movie can be a maximum of 25 minutes long or up to 4 GB in size.
•  The maximum recording time per shooting depends on the size of your SD memory card  
(GP. 133). Shooting may also end even before this length of time is reached.
•  The amount of time remaining is calculated based on the amount of memory available and may not
diminish at an even rate.
•  Please use an SD memory card of Speed Class 6 or higher for shooting movies.
•  Charge the battery before shooting.
