Take off the lens cap by pressing the two tabs inward.

When not using the lens, be sure to attach the lens cap.

Attach the dedicated lens cap over the lens hood on the DA 21mm f/3.2 AL Limited, DA 35mm f/2.8
Macro Limited, DA FISH-EYE 10-17mm f/3.5-4.5ED [IF], and DA 70mm f/2.4 Limited. Also, with
the DA 21mm f/3.2 AL Limited, DA 40mm f/2.8 Limited, DA 70mm f/2.4 Limited, it is possible to
mount the F49mm lens cap (option) by removing the lens hood.
