Error messages
If the unit detects a problem, one of the following messages is shown on the display.
Display message
Cause/solution
Base no power
or
No link. Re-connect 
base AC adaptor.
L
The handset has lost communication with the 
base unit. Move closer to the base unit and try 
again.
L
Unplug the base unit’s AC adaptor to reset the 
unit. Reconnect the adaptor and try again.
L
The handset’s registration may have been 
canceled. Re-register the handset (page 42).
Busy
L
No cellular phone is registered to the base 
unit. Register a cellular phone (page 15).
L
The called unit is in use.
L
Other units are in use and the system is busy. 
Try again later.
L
The handset you are using is too far from the 
base unit. Move closer and try again.
Call phone company for 
your access #
L
You have not stored the voice mail access 
number. Store the number (page 57).
Check tel line
L
The supplied telephone line cord has not been 
connected yet or not connected properly. 
Check the connections (page 8).
L
If you do not connect the telephone line cord 
and use only cellular lines, set the cellular line 
only mode (page 17).
Error!!
L
Recording was too short. Try again.
L
Someone is using a cellular line or headset, or 
copying phonebook entries. Try again later.
L
The phonebook copy is incomplete (page 47). 
The cellular phone is disconnected from the 
base unit. Make sure that other Bluetooth 
devices are not connected to the cellular 
phone, and try again.
Failed
L
Although the unit tried to connect to the 
cellular phone or headset, the connection has 
been failed.
– Someone is using a cellular line or headset. 
Try again later.
– Make sure that the cellular phone or 
headset is not connected to other Bluetooth 
devices.
