Insert the disc(s) and start playback (A page 12, Discs—Basic
play).
TUNER
Do steps 1 to 2 (A page 22, Manual tuning) to select the desired
station.
CASSETTE
Do steps 1 to 3 (A page 23, Cassette tapes) to start playback.
AUX
Do steps 1 to 2 (A page 34, Using an external unit) to operate
from an external source connected to the AUX jack.
Begin your karaoke performance by doing steps 1 and 3
(A page 26, Enjoying karaoke with karaoke DVD).
Changing the key
To raise or lower the key by a halftone.

# (raises the key) : –6 to +6
I (lowers the key) : +6 to –6
Adding an echo effect

To record your karaoke performance
Do preparatory steps (A page 24, Recording).
When singing along with discs
Insert the disc(s) you want (A page 12, Discs—Basic play).
Press [: DVD/CD] and then [L STOP].
When singing along with radio
Select your desired station (A page 22, The radio).
When singing along from an external source
Connect and prepare the source (A page 34, Using an external
unit).
