Temperature alert (indoor cameras only)
To configure the camera to send notifications if the camera’s ambient temperature is too cold or too hot,
see  “Temperature alert (indoor cameras only)”, Page 69.

Sound alert (indoor cameras only)
To configure the camera to send notifications if the camera’s microphone detects sound, see  “Sound
alert (indoor cameras only)”, Page 70.

SD card capacity and total recording time
The following recording times apply when images from one camera are recorded. All times are
approximate.
– 2 GB card: 15 hours
– 4 GB card: 30 hours
– 8 GB card: 60 hours
– 16 GB card: 120 hours
– 32 GB card: 240 hours

Note:
R SD cards larger than 32 GB cannot be used.
R The times listed here are calculated theoretically. Actual recording time may vary.
R The file system and other information is stored on the SD card, therefore the card’s actual available

capacity will be less than the card’s noted capacity.

SD card formatting
Before inserting an SD card in the hub, format the SD card using your computer and the SD formatting
tool available from the web page listed below.

Note:
R All data stored on the SD card will be erased when it is formatted.

How recordings are saved on the SD card
R Recordings are saved on the hub’s SD card in folders based on the recording date, in the following

path.
\private\PANA_GRP\PSN\HOMENW\CAMERA

R The file naming convention is: camera number + recording type + recording start time.

– First character: Camera number. Cameras 1-4 are indicated using 1-4.
– Second character: Recording type. R=scheduled recordings, S=sensor recordings, M=manual

recordings.

– Remaining characters: Recording start time (hhmmss).
Example: 2M123455.mp4
This file is a manual recording (“M”) from camera 2 (“2”) that started at 12:34 PM and 55 seconds
(“123455”).
