The following system requirements are necessary in order to connect a Macintosh computer to the

The LaserWriter 8 printer driver is standard to the Mac 7.5X, 7.6X, 8.X, 9.0. Check the Macintosh
Chooser to assure that it is installed. If it isn’t, use the Mac OS help system for information about
installing it.

If you have installed optional PS SIMM in your printer, install the PostScript Printer Driver.
Make sure the “READY” message appears on the operator panel display.
