The Universal SPEED Receiver is compatible with Classic Elinchrom units and any other 
flash brand. Delivered with EL - standard sync cable and 3.5 mm jack, to connect to other 
flash brands. The internal, rechargeable Li-Ion battery provides about 30 hours of battery 
operation. To maximise battery life, the Auto-Standby function activates when the unit is not 
used for 4 hours. The charger can be connected to the mains whilst the Universal Receiver 
is in operation. The status LED shows charge and operating modes. The Universal Receiver 
Speed includes several sync cables, adapters and the Multivoltage Charger with Euro, UK 
and USA mains adapters.

To purchase the ELS Universal Receiver REPLACE unit, a used Universal Receiver 
with a defective, or end of life battery must be returned to the dealer. The defective 

Universal modules will be recycled at Elinchrom to save the environment. The Univer-
sal Receiver REPLACE does not include sync cables or charger.

•  SPEED and NORMAL SYNC Mode. The “Normal” mode is fully compatible with 

previous EL-Skyport versions.

•  The SPEED function is also available for Quadra RX, BXRi and D-Lite-it with 

built in ELS Receivers and all other units using the Universal Speed.

•  Up to 1/150s shutter speed for SLR cameras in NORMAL mode and a 1/250s 

in SPEED mode.

•  Up to 60 m range indoor for NORMAL mode and up to 40 m in SPEED mode.
•  Up to 120 m range outdoors for NORMAL mode and up to 70 m in SPEED 

mode.

•  Camera Triggering, this feature requires special optional camera sync cables).
•  LED Status for Normal and Speed sync modes and battery status.
•  New housing and switches.

Code N°19353 
This module fits only Elinchrom RX units, using the integrated 
multiple interface for triggering. No internal battery is required, 
just plug into a Style RX, Digital RX unit and the Transceiver 
RX is ready to use. For Ranger RX, Speed and Speed AS, the 
ELS Transceiver Adapter 19374 is required. The Transmitter 
Speed can control flash power, modelling lamp on/off and flash 
synchronisation. To control all RX functions with a computer, 
the latest EL-Skyport software and the USB RX Speed module 

is required. The EL-Skyport software offers additional features, 
such as the programmable “Flash Delay”, Flash-Counter and 
other features. The software is available as a free download from 
www.elinchrom.com for MAC™ and WIN™ operating systems.
The Transceiver RX does not offer the Speed sync function, 
which is only available for the built-in ELS Receivers and the 
Universal Speed module.

The USB RX Transceiver Speed module fits any MAC™ or 
WIN™ computer. By installing the EL-Skyport software, all 
Elinchrom RX flash units can be controlled. The program 

automatically searches for the “Transceiver RX”, “Universal 
Receiver Speed” and the built-in ELS Receiver (Quadra 
RX) modules. The “Universal Receiver” can only offer 
synchronisation and Strobing option.

•  Full remote control for the Quadra RX (Only Quadra RX 

with serial numbers from 4001 onwards) with built-in 
ELS Receiver.

•  Full remote control with all Elinchrom RX units; Style RX 

300/600/1200, Digital RX 1200/2400, and Ranger RX, 

RX Speed and RX Speed AS, using the ELS Transceiver 
RX. Note: The Ranger RX Battery power packs require the 
ELS Transceiver RX Adapter (19374)

•  The EL-Skyport software is available as a «Free Down-

load» in our «Support» section at www.elinchrom.com

•  The included Charger recharges the Li-Ion battery in approximately 3 hours. 
•  The EL-Skyport software recognises this module as a flash unit and accepts 

triggering and Flash-Delay settings. 

•  Switch to select 8 Frequency channels, to avoid interferences with other wire-

less devices, or to separate workgroups.

•  Switch to select 4 workgroups - adjusting and synchronising individual units 

or workgroups.

•  Integrated Quick-Charge circuit with intelligent charging for deeply discharged 

Lithium-Ion batteries, 

•  Super small.. only 7 x 5 cm.
•  Ultra lightweight.. only 54 g with the battery included.
