If a title is to be copied from the HDD (Hard disk drive) in high-speed mode,
you must set [Rec for High Speed dubbing] to [On] in the SETUP menu before
recording to the HDD (Hard disk drive).
When recording a dual-channel sound programme, only the main or only the
additional sound can be recorded.
In the SETUP menu, use [Bilingual Audio Selection] to select option [M1] or [M2].
If you want to record from an external unit, select option [M1] or [M2] on the external unit.
16:9-format programmes (widescreen) are recorded in 4:3 format.
The disc can then only be played back on other players if they were finalized after dubbing.
If the dubbing of a title in high-speed mode stops in the middle, the affected title will not be
recorded. Even if the title was not dubbed to the DVD-R, DVD-RW or +R, the remaining
capacity of the disc is decreased.
Time-lapsed playback, editing, etc. are not possible during dubbing.
Regardless of the selected recording drive, the timer recording is always saved to HDD
during dubbing.
A playlist cannot be played back if titles were restricted for one-time copying only.
