Titles and playlists can be compiled and dubbed in the desired order.

Press FUNCTIONS

Select DUBBING and confirm with ENTER

 and    to select the desired option.
Dubbing Direction

Use  
 to select the [Source] or [Destination] and confirm with ENTER.

Use  
 to select the desired drive and confirm with ENTER
The source and destination drives cannot be the same.

Use    to return to [Dubbing Direction].
Dubbing Mode

Use  
 to select [Format] or [Recording Mode] and confirm with ENTER
Format: 
Select whether you want to transfer video or pictures.
Recording Mode:
Select the recording quality or the copy speed 
(High Speed, XP-EP, FR). 
!
Use  
 to select the desired setting and confirm with ENTER.
!
Use    to return to [Dubbing Mode].
Cancel All
All saved dubbing settings and lists will be erased.

In the DUBBING screen, use  
 to select [Cancel All] and confirm with ENTER
!
Use       to select [Yes] and confirm with ENTER.
The dubbing settings may also be erased if 
- titles, pictures, etc. were recorded or erased from the dubbing source, 
- the unit was switched off or the disc tray was opened, 
- the dubbing direction was changed, etc.
Create List
You can create a copy list from the existing titles and PLAYLISTS.
!
Confirm [New item] with ENTER.
!
In the Create List screen, use  
 to select the desired title and confirm 
with ENTER. The title is transferred to the copy list. 
!
Use    to return to [Create List].
In order to edit several elements, use  
 to select the desired title and press 
PAUSE   .  
 
 appears.
In the case of High Speed recordings to DVD-R, DVD-RW (DVD-Video format) or +R, 
only those programmes marked with 
 can be selected.
 
Dubbing cannot begin if the Size value is more than 100% of the storage place on the 
destination drive. 
!
When dubbing to a 5x High Speed compatible DVD-RAM, 8x High Speed compatible 
DVD-R or +R in High Speed mode, use 
p
       to select the speed of the DVD.
!
Use       to select [Maximum] or [Normal (Silent)] and confirm [Yes] withq  .
DVD drive speed
With [Normal (Silent)], the sounds made by this unit are quieter than at [Maximum]; 
however, the time required for dubbing almost doubles.
Start Dubbing
!
Use  
 to select [Start Dubbing] and confirm with ENTER.
!
Use    to select [Yes] and confirm with ENTER.
!
Press RETURN for 3 seconds to stop DUBBING early.
During the dubbing procedure, you can continue to record to or playback from 
the HDD (only High Speed mode).
!
Confirm the screen with ENTER.
The dubbing procedure is executed in the background.
!
Press STATUS to display information on the procedure.
Changing the view:
You can select between different views in the Create List screen (Table Display, 
Thumbnail Display and Other View). 
!
In the Create List screen, select SUB MENU.
!
Use  
 to select the desired view and confirm with ENTER
VIDEO/PICTURE and PLAYLISTS view:

Press SUB MENU in the Create List screen.

Use  
 to select [Other View] and confirm with ENTER.

Confirm the following message with ENTER
