∫ Timer Recording

[HDD]
This is activated only when selecting HDD for the destination of 
recording.
If you record a programme onto HDD repeatedly everyday or every 
week using timer recording, the unit will record the new programme 
over the old one.
This function can be used only when weekly recording or 
daily recording is selected for “Date”.

The timer recording list reappears.

Note
≥If a programme set for Auto Renewal Recording is write 

protected (page 34), the programme will not be overwritten. 
Instead, the programme set for recording will be saved as a 
separate programme, and then will be overwritten in the next 
Auto Renewal Recording.

≥When play back the HDD, Auto Renewal Recording will not be 

carried out. The programme supposed to be renewed will be 
recorded as a separate programme.

≥Play list scenes made from programmes that were set for Auto 

Renewal Recording are erased along with auto renewal.

≥You cannot select auto renewal when “SF”, “F”, “N” or “E” is 

selected on “MPEG4 Rec Mode” (page 53).

≥When there is not enough space on the HDD, the programme 

may not be overwritten completely (even if repeating a renewal 
recording).

≥You may also select programme by inputting a 2-digit number 

using the numeric buttons.

≥Use [2, 1] to move to the page preceding or following the 

one on display.

[3] Press [CANCEL] or [ERASE] to delete,

You cannot delete programmes that are currently recording.

The timer recording setting screen appears.

[5] Press [RETURN]. 

For your reference
≥Programmes that failed to record are not deleted (indicated in 

gray), but deleted from the list at 4 a.m. the day after tomorrow 
automatically.
