 •Cannot be used to set brightness and contrast when 
[High Angle] is selected under [LCD Mode].
[LCD Mode]
Make LCD monitor easier 
to see.
 [Auto Power LCD]:
The brightness is adjusted automatically depending on 
how bright it is around the camera.
 [Power LCD]:
Makes screen brighter than normal (for outdoor use).
 [High Angle]:
Makes screen easier to see when taking pictures from 
high positions (becomes harder to see from the front).
[OFF]
 •Cannot select [Auto Power LCD] and [High Angle] in 
playback mode.
 •[Power LCD] returns to ordinary brightness if there is no 
operation for 30 seconds when recording. (Press any 
button to make the screen brighter again.)
 •[High Angle] will be cancelled when power is turned off 
(including [Sleep Mode]).
 •Because the picture shown on the LCD monitor screen 
emphasises brightness, some subjects may look different 
than their actual appearance, but this will not affect the 
recorded picture. 
 •Setting [LCD Mode] reduces the operating time.
