Connecting to other equipment

Preparations:
Turn on the camera and the PC.
Remove the card before using the pictures in the built-in memory.
Connect the computer and camera with the USB connection cable
(supplied).
Press 3/4 to select [PC], and then press [MENU/SET].
Operate the PC.
•
You can save the images into the PC by dragging and dropping the image, or the folder
with the image that you would like to transfer onto a different folder in the PC.
Note
•
Use a battery with sufficient battery power. If the remaining battery power becomes low while
the camera and the PC are communicating, the alarm beeps.

•
Before inserting or removing a card, turn the camera off and disconnect the USB connection
cable. Otherwise, data may be destroyed.
Loading still pictures or motion pictures

Check the directions of the connectors, and plug them straight in or unplug them
straight out. (Otherwise the connectors may bend out of shape, which may cause
malfunction.)
•
Do not use any other USB connection cables except the supplied one.
Use of cables other than the supplied USB connection cable may cause malfunction.

Priprema:
Uključite fotoaparat i računalo.
Izvadite karticu prije korištenja fotografija snimljenih na ugrađenu memoriju.
Spojite računalo i fotoaparat pomoću isporučenog kabela za
spajanje USB-a.
• Provjerite smjer priključaka te ih ravno umetnite ili izvadite (u suprotnom se
priključci mogu izobličiti, što može izazvati kvar).
• Koristite isključivo isporučeni kabel za spajanje USB-a. Uporaba drugih kabela,
osim isporučenog kabela za spajanje USB-a, može prouzročiti kvar.
Kabel za spajanje USB-a (isporučen)
Poravnajte oznake i umetnite.
Pritisnite ▲/▼ da biste odabrali [PC] i zatim pritisnite [MENU/SET].
Izvedite potrebne radnje na računalu.
• Slike je moguće pohraniti na računalo tako da povučete i ispustite sliku ili mapu u
kojoj se nalazi slika koju želite prebaciti u neku drugu mapu na računalu.
Napomena
• Koristite dostatno napunjene baterije. Ako se baterija isprazni tijekom razmjene
podataka između fotoaparata i računala, pokazivač statusa će treperiti te će se oglasiti
alarm.
Pročitajte „Sigurno odspajanje USB spojnog kabela” (

) prije nego što odspojite

• Prije umetanja ili vađenja memorijske kartice/baterije isključite fotoaparat i odspojite

Note
•
The operating times and number of recordable pictures will differ according to the
environment and the operating conditions.
For example, in the following cases, the operating times will shorten and the number of
recordable pictures is reduced:

At low temperature or in cold locations such as ski resorts or at high altitude

Residual image may show on the LCD display when in use. The battery performance
will decrease, so keep the camera and spare batteries warm by placing them in a
warm place such as inside your cold protection gear or clothing. Performance of
batteries and LCD monitor will restore to normal when the temperature returns to
normal.

When using [LCD Mode].

When operations such as flash and zoom are used repeatedly.
•
When the operating time of the camera becomes extremely short even after properly charging
the battery, the life of the battery may have expired. Buy a new battery.
