The scanner can be installed using two methods:

Method A. On top of the printer
Method B. On left or right side of the printer

Remove the two top hole covers with
a small flat-blade screwdriver, then
remove the two screws from the
printer.

Install the guide pins and tighten them
with a flat-blade screwdriver.

Match the guide pins to the holes
under the scanner, and place the
scanner gently onto the printer.

{38.1 lbs.}. It must be handled by two people.

Lock the scanner by sliding it toward
the right.
