Question: Does this printer work under any other emulation.
Answer:
This printer has two emulations, Epson and IBM.
When using Epson emulation the Panasonic driver or the Epson LQ-850 driver may be used.
When using IBM emulation the IBM Proprinter X24e driver may be used.
Emulation can be changed by using the front panel of the printer.  Press the
  
( Menu )  button to enter Menu mode, and select the emulation heading by using the
                          ( Menu ) button.  The display will then show either EMULATION EPSON
or EMULATION IBM.  If the mode you require is not displayed press the
( Selection ) button, using the up or down arrow keys to select the desired setting.
Press the                    ( Set ) button to store the new setting,  the                        button will
then exit the function menu.
