Duração do toner
A duração do toner depende do volume de conteúdo num
documento recebido, copiado ou impresso. A seguir encontra a
relação aproximada entre a área da imagem e a duração do toner
para substituição do cartucho de toner (Modelo Nº KX-FAT92X). A

Duração do tambor
A unidade do tambor é um consumível e precisa de ser substituída
regularmente. Existem vários factores que determinam a duração
real do tambor, como a temperatura, a humidade, o tipo de papel
utilizado e a quantidade de toner usada por número de folhas e
por tarefa de impressão. A duração máxima do tambor é de
aproximadamente 6.000 folhas. O número actual de folhas que o
tambor imprimirá pode ser muito inferior a esta previsão se a
unidade for utilizada frequentemente para imprimir poucas folhas
por trabalho. Isto deve-se ao facto de não ser possível controlar
muitos dos factores que influenciam a duração real do tambor, não
podemos garantir que o tambor imprima um número mínimo de
folhas.
