Receiving data from a Bluetooth device
1.
Send the data to your phone from the sending device.
Refer to the operating instructions included with the other device for details.
2.
Open the phone’s notifications panel and tap [Bluetooth share: Incoming file] 
® [Accept].
Note
You can confirm the status of the data transfer in the notifications panel. If necessary, you can stop
or retry the data transfer.
To later view files you’ve received using your phone’s Bluetooth feature, tap 
 in the Home screen
and then tap [Settings] 
® [Bluetooth] ®   ® [Show files received].
Android Beam
Android Beam is a feature that allows you to share data, such as contacts, web page addresses, map
locations, etc. with other Android Beam-compatible devices by simply touching your phone to the other
device.
Turning on the phone’s Android Beam feature
1.
From the Home screen, tap 
 
® [Settings].
2.
Tap [More…].
3.
Turn on the [NFC] checkbox.
4.
Tap [Android Beam] and then turn on the [Android Beam] switch.
Sharing data using Android Beam
To share your phone’s data with another device: First display the data on your phone that you would
like to share, and then touch your phone and the other device together. When [Touch to beam] is displayed
on your phone, tap the screen. The other device will receive and display the data.
To use your phone to receive data from another device: First display the data on the other device that
you would like to share, and then touch your phone and the other device together. When [Touch to
beam]
 is displayed on the other device, tap the screen. Your phone will receive and display the data.
Note
When touching your phone to the other device, make sure your phone’s NFC antenna is placed near
the other device’s NFC antenna, and that both devices are unlocked.
In order to use this feature, the other device must be compatible with Android Beam and its Android
Beam feature must be turned on. Refer to the operating instructions included with the other device
for details.
USB connection features
You can use the included USB cable to connect your phone to your computer. This allows you to copy data
between your phone and computer, which is useful for backing up data on your phone by saving it on your
computer, or for using your phone as a portable data storage device.
