Question: Does this printer work under any other emulation.

Answer:  This printer has two emulations, Epson and IBM.

                  When using Epson emulation either the Panasonic driver or the Epson equivalent driver may

be used. The Epson equivalent driver is the Epson LQ-2500.

When using IBM emulation the IBM Proprinter X24 driver must be used.

Emulation may be changed by using the initial set up table which can be entered by holding

down the                      button whilst powering the printer on.  By using the column and row

keys

 

you will be able to change the printers emulation within the table according to the table

below:

ON

OFF

OFF

EPSON (I)

EPSON (G)

IBM (G1)

IBM (G2)

The                 and                   switches move the position of the indicator to the new

setting, the                 switch is used to store the new setting. Press the

switch to exit initial set up mode.
