WEP
OFF : Check this when the WEP is not registered in the AP.
ON : Check this when the WEP is registered in the AP, and make the
following settings.
Authentication
OPEN
: Check this when the AP authentication is Open System.
SHARED : Check this when the AP authentication is Shared Key.
(If this is performed in AdHoc mode, select OPEN.
However, some computers may require connection by
SHARED authentication.)
KEYLENGTH
Set the length of the WEP KEY.
64 Bit : Alphanumeric – 5 characters; Hexadecimal – 13 characters
128 Bit : Alphanumeric  – 13 characters; Hexadecimal – 26
characters
DEFAULT KEY ID
Set 1 – 4 numerals for the default WEP KEY.
INPUT FORMAT
CHARACTER
: Check this when the input is alphanumeric.
HEXADECIMAL: Check this when the input is hexadecimal code.
KEY 1 – 4
Set these to match the WEP KEY registered in the AP.

The above settings will be registered in the user settings of the projector.
■ Making the above settings effective
Select [NETWORK] in the network menu of the projector (see page 28), and use the
[
] buttons to select [USER] and press the [ENTER] button.
Notes:
• The projector supports only 64 bit and 128 bit WEP codes.
• WPA and WPA2 are not supported. However, image and audio data are all
encrypted using AES, so essential data are protected.
