Setup Parameters

Panafax Desktop uses the fax modem in your device that is connected on your network (LAN) for fax 
communication.
Before using the 

Panafax Desktop, the following parameters must be setup onto your device and PC.

1. 

 

Make sure that the following device parameters have been set properly in advance. Contact your network 
administrator for details.

 

Parameter names may differ depending on the type of device you are using. 

 

Refer to the Operating Instruction of your device for the Parameter names.

*1 : User Parameter No. 36 (Relay XMT Password).

Refer to 

Fax/Email Settings, User Parameters in the Operating Instructions (For Function 

Parameters) on the provided CD-ROM.

*2 : Fax Parameter No.143 (Relay XMT Report)Refer to 

Fax/Email Settings, Fax Parameters in 

the Operating Instructions( For Function Parameters) on the provided CD-ROM.

*3 : Fax Parameter No. 54 (Fax Forward).

Refer to

Install the Panafax Desktop
Refer to 

Panasonic Document Management System in the Operating Instruction (For Setting Up) of 

provided booklet. Make sure that the 

Panafax Desktop menu is selected when installing the software.
