If PC data, etc. is recorded and deleting titles does not increase disc space, it may be necessary to format 
disc. (DVD-RAM)

Deletion will not increase disc space. (DVD-R)

If disc is dirty , please purchase a special disc cleaner (LF-K200DCA1, where available) and format after disc 
is cleaned.

Discs which cannot be formatted may not be useable in this unit.

Created chapter data is written when power is turned off or when disc is removed. If a power outage, etc. 
disrupts this process, chapter information may not be recorded.

Start/End points cannot be set if the space between them is too short, or if the Start point comes after the End 
point. Start/End points cannot be set on a paused picture.

If the chapter is too short to be erased, combine it with another chapter and then erase.

Most videos and DVDs on the market (including rentals) are copy protected and cannot be correctly copied.

On some discs, the audio level is not uniform. If certain parts, such as speech, etc. are set to higher or lower 
audio levels, then recorded onto a tape, this condition may be produced.

•  This unit alone is not enough. You will need 6 speakers and, if a digital connection, an amp equipped with dolby digital 

or DST recorder.

•  You can play them if the video standard is NTSC.
•  Only if the regional code includes "ALL" or "1". Check the package.

•  The DVD-Video region number indicates the disc conforms to a standard. You cannot play discs that do not have a 

region number.

•  Only a DVD-R that has been finalized can be used. DVD-RW cannot be used.
•  This unit also records and plays 1×-4× recording speed DVD-R discs.

•  CD-R and CD-RW recorded with finalized MP3 music will play. However, this unit does not allow CD-R and CD-RW 

recording.

•  Most video tape and DVD titles on the market are copy protected. In this case, recording is not possible.

•  Once a DVD-R recorded on this unit is finalized, it can be played on other DVD-R compatible machines. (It is not 

guaranteed to work with all machines.) It may not play depending on recording conditions.

•  This is not possible.

•  Most commercially sold video cassettes and DVD are copy protected; therefore, recording is usually not possible.

•  You can record if using the PCM signal. When recording DVD, change the “Digital Audio Output” settings to the 

following in the SETUP menu.
-  PCM Down Conversion: On
- Dolby Digital: PCM
- DTS: PCM

  However, only as long as digital recording from the disc is permitted and the recording equipment is compatible with a 

sampling frequency of 48 kHz.

•  This varies based on conditions of usage, but they can be rewritten up to about 100,000 times.
