Subject: Windows 2000 Installation
In order to operate the KV-S6045 document scanners under the Windows 2000 environment you will need to
carry out the following steps.
1.  Logon onto Adaptec’s web site (
www.adaptec.com
) and download the following file: -
ASPI32.EXE (Version 4.60)
2.  Install this software layer prior to installing the ISIS drivers supplied with the scanner.
3.  Install the latest scanner drivers for Windows NT4.
4.  If you do not have the latest drivers then please download them from “www.panasonic.co.uk”
NB
The ASPI layer is normally installed during the installation of  the drivers but this is not the correct
version for Windows 2000.
