Starting and exiting Voice Editor 3

Start Windows.

Connect the IC recorder to the 
computer using the USB cable.
Note
•Use a USB Reader/Writer or PC card adapter to 
connect an SD Memory Card.
•Voice Editor 3 recognizes IC recorders and USB 
Reader/Writers as drives but Windows does not 
recognize IC recorders as drives.

Double-click the 
  icon on the  
desktop.
Voice Editor 3 starts, the Title Screen 
appears, and then the <Drive selection 
dialog> appears asking you to select the 
drive.
If the icon is not on the desktop, from the 
[Start] menu, select "Programs" 
a "Voice 
Editor 3" 
a "Voice Editor 3".

Select the drive and click on

A dialog screen appears asking you 
to create a new SD_VOICE folder 
on the drive you selected. Click on 
[Yes] to confirm. After you select a 
drive, the Set Title menu appears.

Give the folder titles.
• Four folders are created.
• You can change their names later.
