Before starting, check that all the following items are included with your 
camera. If anything is missing, contact your dealer.

* Battery Charger LC-E6 or LC-E6E is provided. (The LC-E6E comes with a 

power cord.)

 

The Instruction Manual and CD-ROMs provided are listed on the next page.

 

Attach the Eyecup Eg to the viewfinder eyepiece.

 

If you purchased a Lens Kit, check that the lenses are included.

 

Depending on the Lens Kit type, Lens Instruction Manuals may also be included.

 

Be careful not to lose any of the above items.

When you need Lens Instruction Manuals, download them from the Canon 
Web site (p.4). The Lens Instruction Manuals (PDF) are for lenses sold 
individually. Note that when purchasing the Lens Kit, some of the 
accessories included with the lens may not match those listed in the Lens 
Instruction Manual.

When connecting the camera to a computer etc., use the provided interface 
cable or one from Canon. When connecting the interface cable, also use the 
provided cable protector (p.38).
