Before using applications of iPod touch /iPhone/
Android, select the device to use.

When connecting the device for the first time, the 
setup screen (for connection, etc.) appears. Follow 
the procedure on the setup screen to configure 
the settings.

Preparation:
•  For Android: Connect the Android device via 

Bluetooth. (Page 53)

•  For iPod touch/iPhone:

 

– Connect iPod touch/iPhone with a cable 

(Page 82  ) or via Bluetooth (Page 53).

 

– Select the connection method of iPod touch/

iPhone on <iPod Setup>. (Page 23)

 Display 

the 

<APP Setup> screen.

On the Home screen:

• If [Enter] for <APP Setup> cannot be 

selected, put the unit in standby. (Page 10)

  Select the device type (

1), then press 

[Change] (

2).

  Select the connection method (

1), then 

confirm the selection ([OK] or [Next]) (

2).

Select this when the device is 
connected via Bluetooth. (Go to 
step 4.)

Select this when the Android 
device is connected both by 
cable KCA-MH100 (optional 
accessory) or KCA-HD100 
(optional accessory) to the 
HDMI/MHL input terminal and 
via Bluetooth. (Go to step 4.)

Select this when the iPod/iPhone 
is connected using KCA-iP102 
(optional accessory) or KCA-iP103 
(optional accessory).

Select this when the iPod/iPhone 
is connected using KCA-iP202 
(optional accessory).

[Bluetooth] Select this when the iPod/iPhone 

is connected via Bluetooth. (Go 
to step 4.)

Select this when the iPod/iPhone 
is connected using HDMI cable 
KCA-HD100 (optional accessory) 
and KCA-iP103 (optional 
accessory) through a Lightning-
Digital AV adapter (accessory of 
the iPod/iPhone). (Go to step 4.)

 When 

selecting 

[HDMI + Bluetooth]* or 

[Bluetooth] as the connection method, 
the paired device list appears. Select the 
target device (

1), then press [OK] to 

connect (

2).

•  If the device is already connected, skip step 

1.

*  Appears only for DDX7051BT/DDX751WBTL/DDX517BT .
