If you need warranty service, take the following steps:
1.  Save your sales receipt for warranty registration and service.
2.  Contact the dealer from whom you bought Q-Logic.  They will give you instructions for
warranty service.
3.  If no dealer is available, call Ai Research for further instructions:
(405) 624-6722. You must receive an RA# before returning any defective parts.

REMOVAL :
     Remove four (4) screws along the lower threshold panel of the rear hatch opening and remove panel.
Remove the rear dome light cover and remove the two (2) screws revealed.  Remove one (1) screw from
each end of the upper hatch trim panel, disconnect the dome light wiring and remove the panel.
     Remove the screw, revealed when the lower threshold panel was removed, which attaches the right rear
quarter panel cover.  Carefully detach the “D” pillar cover and remove.
     Remove the right rear passenger seat belt shoulder harness bolt from the “C” pillar.  Carefully remove “C”
pillar cover.
     Remove one (1) screw, revealed when “C” pillar cover was removed, which attaches the rear quarter
panel cover.  Remove two (2) screws attaching the retractable cargo shade bracket and remove bracket.
Remove the screw attaching the metal tie-down and the screw near the lower portion of the rear seat which
attaches the rear quarter panel cover.
     Detach the right rear door lower threshold panel and pull back far enough to allow the rear quarter panel
cover to slide out.  Remove the quarter panel from the vehicle.  Using a die grinder or utility knife, remove
the fourteen (14) mounting tabs from the back side of the quarter panel cover which attach the cargo netting.
Remove the netting.

INSTALLATION:
     Drill a hole in the bottom of the recessed pocket on the quarter panel cover to allow the speaker wire to
come through.  Return the quarter panel cover to the vehicle and run the speaker wire through the hole and
connect to the terminal cup on the Q-Custom enclosure.  Place the Q-Custom enclosure face down on the
floor of the rear cargo area and lay the quarter panel cover on top.  The rear of the Q-Custom enclosure
should fit perfectly into the recess of the quarter panel cover.  Using a power screwdriver drive a #8 x .5”
screw (supplied) into each of the fourteen (14) rectangular openings that were previously used to attach the
netting.  Reinstall the quarter panel cover, replace and tighten all screws.
     Connect the supplied speaker lead to the terminals inside the Q-Custom enclosure and place the
supplied polyfill into the enclosure.  Slide the painted outer shell onto the enclosure.  Connect the speaker
leads to the woofer and install woofer into enclosure using the supplied #8 x 1” screws.  Using a supplied #8
x 1” screw, press the front edge of the outer shell against the rear quarter panel cover and install the screw
into the pre-drilled hole in the front side of the outer shell.  

Note: Do not over tighten!  This screw should hold

the outer shell firmly against the factory panel, over tightening could distort the outer shell.
     Place the rubber “U” channel on the edge of the painted grill and press into the grill recess.

Please read all the safety and installation instructions BEFORE operating your new subwoofer system.

Ai Research warrants to the original retail purchaser, this product to be free from defective workmanship and material when used under
normal conditions in accordance with the product's printed instructions for a period of one (1) year from the date of purchase.  Ai Research
agrees to remedy any such defect or furnish a new part in exchange for the defective one at no charge for parts or labor.

This warranty is limited to Ai Research products and specifically excludes consequential damage to other associated equipment which may
result for any reason from use with this product.  In no event shall Ai Research be liable for incidental or consequential damages or have any
liability with respect to defects other than the obligations set forth above.  Some states do not allow limitations on how long an implied
warranty lasts, and/or the exclusion or limitation of incidental or consequential damages, so the above limitations or exclusions may not apply
to you.  This warranty gives you specific rights and you may also have other rights which vary from state to state.

This warranty does not cover the following:
•  Damages caused by water, neglect, abuse, misuse, improper installation or operation.
•  Damages caused by acts of God or nature.
•  Damages occurring during shipment of the product to Ai Research for repairs.
•  Any product which is modified without consent of Ai Research.
