Q-Logic Q-Forms Kick Panel Enclosures Owner's Manual

Note: Always check the fit of the Q-Forms panel in the vehicle BEFORE any cutting or modifications are done!

Drivers Side:

Remove the tree lock at the top of the factory threshold panel.  Gently pry up on the lower

portion of the panel, releasing it from the front 2 clips.  Pull back the carpet, exposing the foam

dead pedal block. Remove the block and replace the carpet.

Passenger side:

Remove two(2) 7mm screws securing the under dash cover.  Pull the cover down and remove

the two(2) tree lock tabs.  Remove the cover from the vehicle.  Remove the tree lock at the top

of the factory threshold panel.  Gently pry up on the lower portion of the panel, releasing it from

the front 2 clips.

Cut the speaker holes in the Q-Forms before installing the panels in the vehicle.  Using a hole saw of

the correct size, position the pilot drill on the dimple at the center of the speaker mounting surface.  Be

careful as the hole saw exits the rear of the panel.  Install speaker wiring and crossover network as per

manufacture’s instructions.  Install tweeters as per manufacture’s instructions.  Install midrange drivers

after Q-Forms panels have been installed in the vehicle.

SPEAKER INSTALLATION:

Driver side installation:

Push down the carpet in the dead pedal area.  Place the Q-Form kickpanel against the sidewall and

locate the upper tab into the factory cutout in the sheet metal.  Push the panel down while rotating

towards the firewall.  Hold the panel in place with one hand and check the fit by replacing the threshold

panel and tree lock.  The threshold panel should rest in the recess of the Q-Forms kickpanel.  Remove

the tree lock and threshold panel.  Check the area behind the mounting tabs for any wiring harnesses,

then secure the panel using three(3) of the supplied #8 x 1/2" sheet metal screws through the pre-

drilled hole in each tab and into the sheet metal.  Replacing the threshold panel and tree lock.  Lay the

supplied polyfill in and around the opening for the midrange driver, and install the midrange driver as

per manufacturer’s instructions.   Be sure to center driver in opening to allow clearance for the speaker

grill.  Cut the supplied "U" channel into two equal pieces.  Install the rubber "U" channel over and

around the edge of the supplied grill.  Press the grill into the grill opening.
