For this setup, use a direct burial, 
multi-stranded wire designed for 
amplifier to speaker connections. 
This manual covers a setup that uses 
a 2-conductor wire, however a 4-con-
ductor wire can also be used. Refer 
to this chart to select the minimum 
wire gauge -- heavier gauge wire is 
always OK.

• 8” Subwoofer (AS8SUB)
• Wire nuts (x10)

• Direct burial wire
• Wire cutters
• Wire stripper
• Shovel
• Philip’s head and flat head 

screwdrivers

This set includes 4 AS4SAT speakers, however the system is de-
signed to support up to 8 speakers from a single 2ch amplifier or 
receiver. If additional speakers are needed, we recommend pur-
chasing one or two AS4SAT Expansion Packs, which contain an 
additional pair of speakers.

Planning

The Acoustic Landscape™ speakers and subwoofer should be stra-
tegically placed to evenly distribute sound throughout the out-
door area. Fully plan out the locations of all speakers, subwoofers 
and buried wires before beginning the installation process.
