• Pressing the shutter button down halfway adjusts the exposure, and

pressing the shutter button the rest of the way down takes the shot.

• When the focus and exposure are adjusted, the viewfinder lamp

lights.

• If you shoot a picture when preview is ON, a preview image is

displayed on screen for about two seconds.

• The viewfinder lamp flashes while image data is being recorded onto

the SmartMedia™card.

Using the LCD Monitor

1. Get ready to take the photograph.

Load the batteries and the SmartMedia™ card into the camera.

2. Slide the power switch 

 to turn on the power.
