PINCH CLUTCH TORQUE ADJUSTMENT

The pinch clucth block (A-1279-374-A), which is already adjusted, is supplied as a service part.

Adjust the rotation accompnied by the focus and the slip.

Equipment

Adhesive bond (LOCTITE460) or the equivalent

Adjustment Procedure

Remove the focus rubber ring.

Peel off the focus ring reinforcement plate,

Remove two pinch lever hold pins.

Rotate the focus ring so that the pinch lever fixing hole of torque ring A can be shifted.

When rotating clockwise the focus ring, facing the lens up, the torque becomes weak.

When rotating counterclockwise the focus ring, facing the lens up, the torque becomes strong.

Apply the adhesive bond (LOCTITE460) to the tip of pinch lever hold pin and tighten it.
