The BrakeLite Alert System is a wireless system, which is intended to be used in conjunction 
with the Blue Ox Apollo braking system while towing a vehicle.  This means that the system can 
be installed without the need for wires connecting tow vehicle to the vehicle being towed. When 
installed correctly it will notify the user when the towed vehicle’s brakes have been activated.   
 
The BrakeLite system consisting of two parts a receiver in the tow vehicle and a transmitter in 
the vehicle being towed.     
 

 

The receiver can be installed in the towing vehicle (front vehicle) in Three Easy Steps.   
 

1.  Remove Receiver from packaging. 

 

2.  Plug the receiver automotive adapter into the vehicle’s cigarette lighter or other any 

available 12V power port on the vehicle.
