3 Capturing Videos and Photos
3.1 Recording Videos
When a video is recorded, the video is automatically saved in the
memory card. By default, the camera is in Sports DV (SDV) mode.

Press the Shutter button to start recording.

Video recording in SDV mode can either be NORMAL or SLOW. To
do slow motion recording, you must change the video setting in SET
menu, see Slow Motion Recording on page 26.
To use the camera as a Car DV recorder, you must switch to CAR
DV mode. In CAR DV mode, video recording can either be
NORMAL or LAPSE mode. See Lapse on page 35 for more
information on using LAPSE recording.

3.2 Taking Photos
