The following table provides a guideline of how often to change the feed module, separation roller, pre-separation 
pad and tires. Extra tires are provided in the event one is damaged during replacement. 
•  Feed module and separation roller tires: tire life will vary depending upon paper types, environment and 

cleanliness. Nominal tire life is approximately 500,000 pages; results will vary. Degradation of feeder 
performance, multiple feeds, stoppages, etc. indicate a need to change tires. Change all tires on the feed 
module and separation roller at the same time.   

•  Feed module and separation roller kit: it is recommended that you install a new feed module and separation 

roller approximately every 7

th

 tire change. Install a new feed module and separation roller at the same time. 

•  Pre-separation pad: change each time you change the feed module, separation roller or change the tires. 

NOTE:  The replacement tires are for use with the feed module and the separation roller (unless using the Kodak 

Feeder Kit for Ultra-Lightweight Paper.
