NOTE 

The wSIM examples provided in Section 

4.1.2 (wSIM 10001, wSIM 10002, and 

wSIM 10003) are not necessarily the 

same as the wSIM provided in the 

WiTry™ Kit.   

Please replace the examples shown 

here with the actual serial numbers of 

the wSIM included with the WiTry™ Kit 

you are configuring.  

 

1.  In the System 1® Configuration application, expand the Instruments 

Segment 

2.  Expand the DAQ Segment 

3.  Right click on Modbus Devices >> select Add wSIM >> select wSIM Node 

Template, see Figure 4-2.

4.  In the Properties of wSIM 00000 window 

a.  Enter the following information on the General Tab, see Figure 

4-3. 

i.  User Name: wSIM 10001 

ii.  Tag Name: wSIM 10001
