Plug the desktop charger to the standard AC
120V outlet as below.

Place the battery on the back of the handset

and slide it down into place.

Push the

battery down until it locks into place.

Pull down the release latch and lift the upper

part of battery, and

remove the battery from

the handset.

e.g.

!

The battery should be in place lest it should slip out of place
during a call. Please turn the phone off before removing the
battery unless you want to lose any unsaved feature or
message.

Charge the battery, being attached to the
handset.

e.g.

!

• It is less efficient for complete charging to charge the

battery with the phone turned on than with the phone off.

• Please check the power connection or the placement of

either handset or battery into the desktop charger when
the red LED is not on.
