8 Messages and forms
Important:
The Alert function is disabled until communication is established with
the chosen HWS.
Show details
Select Show details to display the whole length of the message in the
messages log.
New message
New message
Messages can be selected or written by pressing the New message
button make the Second message view visible (Figure 34). Below the
message log is an area for writing messages with a maximum length of
255 characters. Predefined messages are listed below the edit area.

Sending messages
Select Send to transmit the message in the edit area without an alert.
By selecting Send with alert the message in the edit area is sent with

dialogue box.
Important:
The Send buttons are disabled and messages cannot be sent until
communication is established.
