Use the radioMiro
TM
 room remote control in
a room with any number of radioMiro
TM

dimming or non-dim devices, normally
including one or more wall-mounting
radioMiro
TM
 room preset controllers.
The radioMiro
TM
 room remote control gives
you fingertip control of individual circuits,
presets and overall room light level, in a
convenient unit that looks and feels good on
the coffee table or by the bed!

Note: for whole-house control, use a
radioMiro
TM
 whole-house preset controller or
handheld remote.

1.  Remove the battery cover in the base of
the unit, and install the three AAA cells
provided in accordance with the diagram
in the battery compartment.
2.  Replace the battery cover and press any
button – the status LED will be green if
the batteries are good
3.  When the batteries start to lose their
charge, the status LED will blink red,
indicating that new batteries are
required.
4.  Note that to conserve battery life, the
remote ‘goes to sleep’ when it has not
been used for one minute, and the status
LED goes out. Pressing any button while
the remote is asleep causes the remote
to ‘wake up’, ready for use.

Figure 2

To prevent interference between neighboring
systems, radioMiro
TM
 devices must acquire
a unique house ID before use. It’s simple!
1.  With all devices installed and energized,
check that every radioMiro
TM
 device is
showing a yellow LED. If not, check that
the circuit breaker is on and that the
device is correctly installed.
2.  All devices in a home must be ‘bound’ to
the same home ID. For a new
radioMiro
TM
 installation, simultaneously
press and hold the top and bottom (Ú) of
any device paddle for 2 seconds. Its LED
flashes yellow, indicating that it has
acquired a unique House ID.
3.  Check that all other radioMiro
TM
 device
LEDs are flashing green, indicating that
they have acquired the same House ID.
4.  Return to the first device, and press Ú
again for 2 seconds. All device LEDs
revert to green, indicating that house
binding is complete.
Note: if you’re adding the device to an
existing radioMiro
TM
 installation, simply
press and hold Ú on any previously bound
device for 2 seconds to start the procedure,
verify that the newly added device LED is
flashing green, indicating that it has acquired
the House ID. Press and hold Ú for 2
seconds again on the same previously
installed device to terminate.
Handheld devices will not respond to a
binding signal when they are not in use.
