Power-on Procedure 

Following section describes procedure for first time power–on and normal 

power-on. 

First Time Power-on 

Take following steps to power-on CBTS for the first time. 
1.

 

Turn on main AC power switch and check D-level lightning protection 

indicators.  

2.

 

Insert  six  rectifier  boards  (PRM)  one  by  one  and  check  output  DC 

voltage range. Unplug rectifier boards, if indicators show normal status. 

Leave only one PRM board and insert PMM board.  

3.

 

Turn on CBTS power supply switch. Insert boards and check if boards 

are powered on then unplug boards.  

4.

 

Turn on power amplifier (PA), if status is normal then turn off amplifier.  

5.

 

Turn  on  Uninterrupted  Power  Supply  (UPS),  if  no  warning  indicators 

are on then turn UPS off.  

6.

 

Insert all PRM boards.  

7.

 

Finally turn on UPS.  

Normal Power-on 

Tale following steps to power-on CBTS normally: 
1.

 

Turn on -48 V main power switch. 

2.

 

Turn on PWS AC power input switch. 

3.

 

Turn on the UPS switch. 

4.

 

Finally, turn on power amplifier (PA) switch. 

Power-off Procedure 

CBTS  power-off  procedure  is  reverse  of  power-on  procedure.  Take 

following steps to power-off CBTS:  
1.

 

Turn off power amplifier (PA) switch. 

2.

 

Turn off UPS switch.  

3.

 

Turn off PWS AC power supply switch. 

4.

 

Finally, turn off -48 V main power switch.
