The front of the Sentry contains the features that allow the operator to monitor the state of the device. The following 
table describes the features.

The finger is pressed on the 
platen surface to capture the fingerprint.

Touch Screen is sensitive to contact by a finger or a capacitive stylus.

When the battery accepts a charge, the 
Charge indicator illuminates. 
•  
A Red light indicates 500 mA of electricity is supplied to the Sentry. This current the amount required to 
operate the Sentry, but less than the amount required
 
to charge the Sentry.
•  
An Amber light indicates 1500 mA of electricity is supplied to the Sentry. 
•  
A Green light indicates the Sentry is supplied the correct amount of electricity by the Docking Station. 
This arrangement allows the device to operate and accept the fastest rate of charge.
