WiFi Inventory Reader 

 

 

Turn on the WiFi Inventory Reader and wait until the WiFi connection is confirmed (Photo 4, WiFi 
connection indicator). 

Start the inventory.exe application. The Pocket PC displays the following window. 

 

Enable search items

Enable check placement 

Display info on the 
selected item 

Clear inventory data 

Save inventory data 

WiFi Inventory 
Reader Status

Display database.txt

Start Inventory 

 

Click “Start” to begin the inventory. The Pocket PC displays the IDs as they are decoded by the 
WiFi Inventory Reader software.

Item not present in the 

database.txt file 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

When the ID of an inventoried item is not listed in the database.txt file, “Unknown” is displayed in 
the Title column.
