Certain non-browser Internet applications, such as instant mes-
saging programs, will need to be manually reconfigured to com-
municate with the Internet over the LAN (Local Area Network).

If a network computer connects to the Internet using Microsoft’s
Dial-Up Networking or an ISP-specific dialing program, then
the network modem will operate only in Single User Mode. An
Internet connection must be established either manually from
the Symphony software interface or automatically, as configured
in the Maestro’s Dial On Demand screen, in order to use Multi-
User Internet Sharing Mode.
