  Wait until the system is connected.

  Verify that all the Wi‐Fi LEDs (WLAN & signal strength) on the Reader are ON 

(see

 

 

1.4.1).

 If the Wi‐Fi LEDs don’t work then you will have to start this stage 

from

 the beginning.

  After connecting to the wireless network, disconnect the network cable and re‐

start

 the Reader: 

a.

  Use the transformer power button to turn the device off. 

b.

  Disconnect the network cable. 

c.

  Power the Reader ON using the transformer switch 

d.

  Wait for the device to locate the network (~1 minute).  

e.

  The communication verification is now done by checking:: 

 

At

 least 2 communication LEDs are ON  

 

 

AfiControl

 displays the Reader’s IP, see
