Bluetooth function may not be compatible with stereo Bluetooth headsets 
made by other companies. Please refer to the Bluetooth Headset manual 
for Headset operation information. 
 
Power on/off 
This function activates or deactivates your phone’s Bluetooth feature. 
1.   Press the [

 to activate Bluetooth, or select

Device search 
This function displays the paired device or allows you to add a new device. 
The icon displayed beside each paired device varies depending on the 
device’s type.

NOTE: If Bluetooth isn’t activated you will be prompted to turn it on. Press 
the [

] key. 
 
•  Your phone will search for headsets or other handsets in pairing mode. 
Pairing mode is the process where a headset or phone and another 
phone talk to each other before connecting. 
•  Once you see your headset or other phone in the list, select it by 
pressing [
] key. 
•  You’ll need to enter your password. For your headset please refer to 
your headset user manual. To pair with other handsets just ensure the 
receiver enters the same PIN you choose e.g. 0000. If the receiver 
entered the same PIN you’ll be paired.

View the mobiles or headsets that you have previously paired with.

Option
], to select from the following functions. 
(The functions displayed vary depending on which profiles are 
supported by the paired device.) 
• 
Connect/Disconnect
: Displayed for devices supporting the Bluetooth 
Headset/Hands-free profile. Connects or disconnects the selected 
device. 
• 
Browser Folder
: Displayed for devices supporting the FTP Server 
profile. Displays the FTP directory of the other device. 
• 
Edit Name
: Allows you to edit the name of the selected other device.  
• 
Delete
: Deletes the selected device from the Paired Device List. 
• 
Set Authorized /Unauthorized
: Displayed for PCs and PDAs. If the 
selected device is set to Authorized, it can access your phone with any 
permission. If the selected device is set to Unauthorized, the selected 
device must have permission to access your phone. 
• 
Add New Device :
 Registers a new device. When you select this 
function, a submenu is displayed listing device types.
