Once a value is entered for an input, pressing the Enter key causes the receiver to

The END/ESC key is used for navigation and cancelling the effect of an input.

Cancelling the effect of an input takes on two forms:

Any of the keys that have a number (0 through 9) in their lower portion are used
in two ways: to select a menu item or to enter in values for an input.
