To determine which color balance or
conversion filter to use, align a straight
edge across scale A (original light source)
and scale C (film being used or desired
light value). The point where the straight
edge crosses scale B will indicate which
correction filter is needed. 
: If you are shooting type B
(tungsten) film in daylight, align your
straight edge at “daylight” (5500°K)
on scale A, and at “type B film” (3200°K)
on scale C. On scale B you will see that
you need an 85B filter for a neutral-
balanced image on film.
