Display indicators 
A number of status indicators are shown at the top 
of the screen to tell you of the relevant settings of 
your handset. Some of the icons listed below may 
not be available at a given time and vary depending 
on your local network operator. 
 
 
Idle display (sub display)
Shown when the phone is not in 
use. 
 
Idle display (main display)
Shown when the phone is not in 
use. 
 
Battery charge indicator. The 
more bars that are shown, the 
more power is available in the 
battery. 
 
Signal strength. The more bars 
shown, the better the signal 
strength. 
 
Roaming. Shown when 
registered with a system other 
than the original one 
(Inter-system Roaming). 
 
Short message. Solid when 
there is an unread incoming 
message. Flashes when the 
memory is full. 
 
Missed call. Shown when there 
is an unanswered incoming call. 
 
Alarm. Shown when the alarm is 
set. 
 
Call divert. Shown when the 
divert call is activated. 
 
GPRS. Shown when the GPRS 
is supported. 
 
MMS. Shown when an MMS 
message has been received and 
not yet downloaded.
